Outside

Lots in this neighborhood are quite large (7000+ft) compared to most neighborhoods in Madison city. Front yards offer a good setback from the street, and the backyards are large enough for proper lawn games and planting your own gardens. This backyard contains a healthy sunny lawn, except where we've cut in gardens. The back right corner is edged, mulched, and planted in two large raised garden beds. Currently planted with garlic, onions, carrots, peas, carrots, turnips, tomatoes.... the bounty will be included with the house sale.  We fenced in the back yard, and installed a small dog door to the back porch, so our small beagle has the run of the place day and night. The back patio is 140 feet sq concrete, and is completely roofed by translucent plastic, so it keeps the sun and rain off but remains nice and bright. It's a wonderful place to hang out with friends, read, drink coffee, whatever.
 The deep carport is attached to the house and has housed a large Buick and large motorcycle at the same time, as well as several bicycles, our trash and recycling, and other things as needed. At the back of the carport is a built-in tool shed (locking) which now holds the lawnmower, snow equipment, and garden supplies.  A gate leads to the back patio and rear entrance of the house.
